NOTES: (Breeding Status: territorial unknown; Special Song Type: other; General Climate: arid; Cover Density: medium) BNA: Song is heard ("chee-whee, whit, wher'r'r'r", "cha, cha, cha, or chee cha cher'r'r'r'r chee") as well as Call Notes (chip). CZ 18/03/2004. [Most of this is call notes, but there are also several songs (1:47-2:02), apparently given by two different birds. Note that one of these song-types is much like that given in LNS #20827, recorded the previous day in the same general area. These calls sound more like distress calls (possibly given near a nest or young) than they do like contact calls. Quality changed from 3-2 to 3-2, 2 (the BEST part of the recording is the calls in the last part) - CAM - 9 February 2005]. Response to playback: No response. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Deciduous Forest, Riparian, Desert, Scrub.
