Media notes

This bird was vocalizing almost immediately upon our approach, but only vocalized for less than 20 seconds, before being quiet, though it continued to very conspicuously fly-catch.

Observation details

***MEGA. Along boardwalk, hawking insects conspicuously, and singing and calling. Perhaps the first documented TX record, though other "Western" Flycatcher records undoubtedly refer to this taxon. More details later. Seen briefly yesterday by others, but identified and reported as a late Yellow-bellied Flycatcher. Pacific-slope Flycatcher Pacific-slope Flycatcher
