Media notes

NOTES: Weather: WIND; THEFIRST 'CAWS' WERE GIVEN BY A DIFFERENT, CLOSER INDIVIDUAL, POSSIBLE AT 5M BUT NOT SEEN. I HAVE NEVER SEEN BARRED ANTSHRIKES GIVE THESE NOTES BUT, AS IN THE PRESENT CASE, I HAVE SEEN BARRED ANTSHRIKES LEAVE PATCHES OF SCRUB FROM WHICH THE SOUNDS CAME AND I HAVE NOT SEEN OTHER BIRDS IN THE SAME POSITIONS. USUALLY A BIRD GIVES ONLY ONE OR TWO 'CAWS' BUT THIS BIRD GAVE A LONG SERIES, MUCH LONGER THAN THE RECORDING. THORN SCRUB. Sex: 1 UNKNOWN. Habitat: Scrub.
