NOTES: Weather: WIND; THIS IS ONE OF THE FLYCATCHERS VERY DIFFICULT TO IDENTIFY IF NOT IN HAND.THROUGH 10X BINOCULARS THE BIRD SEEMED IDENTICAL WITH CONTOPUS PERTINAX NETTED AND PHOTOGRAPHED AT THE SAME PLACE THE YEAR BEFORE. CULTIVATED AREA WITH OCCASIONAL LARGE CYPRESS TREES. 1 ADULT(S); MALE? BNA: Song "fred-rick fe-ar". [Yes, this indeed represents the "fred-rick fe-ar" Song of C. p. minor. Quality unchanged (2 - due to hiss, handling noise, and doves) - CAM - 22 December 2004]. Sound stimulation was (other): PLAYBACK. Response to playback: No response.
