Observation details
In tidal/rainwater pool on beach, Take Jetty Drive off FM3005, then right on Salt Prairie, follow around towards beach. Take first boardwalk over dunes, bird was in the large pool as you straight towards the sea at the end of the boardwalk. Also seen in smaller vegetated ponds 200 yards to the right (west) where photos taken.
