Media notes

An adult bird, locally called "Priolo". This former subspecies has now been accepted as a full species: P. murina, the Azores Bullfinch. A very small population of these birds lives in the Serra de Tronqueira Nature Reserve, on the slopes of Pico de Vera, São Miguel Island. Elevation: 535 m. Date added to IBC: June 21, 2016.
