Peruvian Tern flying. More images from Ecuador and Peru at www.pbase.com/ahlman I found a previously unknown wintering area for this endangered species. I counted no less than 343 in the morning flying out from their night roost. Subsequent years have seen much fewer birds here around this date. In 2016 only 28 were counted. Elevation: 4 m. Date added to IBC: April 8, 2017.
