Media notes
My bad photo of a Curlew Sandpiper (along with a Semipalmated Plover) at Sandy Point State Reservation on Plum Island, Massachusetts.
Observation details
At Sandy Point State Reservation, among a flock of Semipalmated Plovers. When we arrived at Sandy Point, we did not know that this bird was there. We soon saw a large group of birders with scopes and cameras trained on the bird, and we were told that it was a Curlew Sandpiper. I got nice views through my binoculars, and I got fantastic views through the scope of a kind birder who let me look.
