Media notes

Couple perched on a dead tree trunk just above their burrow, grassland savannah. Taken at 14:50h soon before a storm (approaching from behind owls) with a Nikon D7000 camera + Nikkor 400mm f/5.6 AI EDIF hand held, ISO 800, f/8 at 1/640s, ~25% cropped; no flash used. The male is supposed to be the smaller and "serious guy" (above right), since in owls there is a reversed sexual size dimorphism. Elevation: 718 m. Date added to IBC: June 21, 2016.
