Observation details
Surprise sighting of a female perched on a chain link fence near Mt Hope Ave. I watched from 10 yards as it quietly fed on the buds of a young tree growing next to the fence. I presume this is an escapee/released bird, but I don't know really know the status of feral populations in the state.
