Observation details
A continuing bird seen with a McKay's Bunting just east of the town dock since late December 2019 by Lois Nixon. Today after watching the McKay's Bunting, I was starting to leave when this second bird flew in and called. The McKay's called and the second bird landed near it. I think this second bird could fit McKay's Bunting, especially the gray back with thin black markings and the lightly marked rump, but overall it is pretty dark. It did not like me watching it, so I did not stay long. It is interesting that these two birds have been associating together for so long at a precise location while there has been a flock of at least 200 Snow Buntings moving around in the area.
