Observation details
**rare, continuing First found by Tim Spahr a couple weeks ago. Missed a few times, but came right in to the seeded area today. Pale-headed junco with an obvious hood, brown back, pinkish-brown flanks. Darker lores. Tail shows at least two white outer feathers, not sure if I can tell on the third. Originally thought to be a possible Pink-sided, based on my limited experience and some reading, I think it's too small (it was one of the smaller birds in the flock) and the flanks are not extensive enough. What that makes it, I have no idea. Full set (starting with a brief video of it flying away and more video to be added): http://www.flickr.com/photos/brewsterslinnet/8600037813/in/set-72157633115053667/
