A group of Female Australian Bustards walking into the bush. The Australian Bustard (Ardeotis australis) is one of Australia’s largest birds. There was an irruption of Bustards on Wooleen Lake in the semi-arid Murchison region of Western Australia in August after good rains in June stimulated plant growth and insect activity. These five female Australian Bustards were part of a group of 10 that included the displaying male in the previous clip. Elevation: 293 m. Date added to IBC: September 8, 2019.
