A male Hooded Robin perching in the wind. Hooded Robins (Melanodryas cucullata) occupy a wide range of wooded habitats across Australia. This male Hooded Robin was perching on top of a dead Acacia shrub on an overcast, windy day in the semi-arid woodlands of the Murchison Region in Western Australia. Elevation: 293 m. Date added to IBC: July 2, 2019.
