An immature dark morph Brown Falcon perching. Brown Falcons (Falco berigora) are particularly common in the semi-arid shrublands of the Murchison region of Western Australia. They have variable plumage, ranging from dark brown to rufous to paler forms – all morphs have pronounced facial markings. This immature dark morph Brown Falcon was surveying its surrounds as it perched on a dead twig. Elevation: 293 m. Date added to IBC: July 1, 2019.
