A White-browed Scrubwren hunting in Karri litter. The south-western Australian race of the White-browed Scrubwrens (Sericornis frontalis maculatus) occupies a wide range of habitats, from coastal heath to tall, wet Karri forest. White-browed Scrubwrens are constantly active, hopping on the ground or through low vegetation hunting for insects or other small arthropods and worms. This Scrubwren was hunting amongst Karri (Eucalyptus diversicolor) litter on the forest floor in the Porongurup National Park in southern Western Australia. Elevation: 329 m. Date added to IBC: October 11, 2019.
