Media notes
A Grey Fantail perching then sallying to catch small flying insects. Grey Fantails (Rhipidura albiscapa) are endearing, active flycatchers that occur widely in wooded habitats across Australia. This Grey Fantail belongs to the south-western race, Rhipidura albiscapa preissi, and was hunting for small flying insects by sallying from a moss-covered Karri (Eucalyptus diversicolor) log, or from a fallen branch on the ground. Elevation: 329 m. Date added to IBC: October 10, 2019.
