Media notes
Female eating coneflower seeds with male entering later. The green backed Lesser Golfinch is one of the common goldfinches in the urban areas of western Oregon. The female can be easily confused with basic plumaged female and immature American Goldfinches. The lack of buffy or tawny coloring on the Lesser Goldfinches helps to separate it form look-alike American Goldfinches. Elevation: 136 m. Date added to IBC: December 19, 2018.
