Media notes

Male Black-bellied Bustard (Lissotis melanogaster) crossing road. Male Black-bellied Bustards are one of Africa’s most comical birds. The call is extraordinary, and breeding males are very territorial, and will search assiduously for the trespassing male if it hears its call – even a bad imitation of it. Elevation: 287 m. Date added to IBC: June 30, 2017.
