A Little Pied Cormorant perched, scratching itself. The Little Pied Cormorant (Microcarbo melanoleucos) is very common in Australia’s terrestrial wetlands, although it is also found in estuaries and sheltered bays. This bird was perched in a paperbark tree standing in Herdsman Lake in Perth, Western Australia. Elevation: 7 m. Date added to IBC: October 27, 2018.
