A Helmeted Guineafowl walking and clucking. The Helmeted Guineafowl (Numida meleagris) is a locally common resident throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Helmeted Guineafowls are omnivorous, eating a wide variety of seeds, insects, berries and tubers. This Guineafowl was near a chalet in Manyane Resort, Pilanesberg National Park clucking as it searched for food. Elevation: 1305 m. Date added to IBC: June 20, 2018.
