Media notes
A White-bellied Sea-Eagle flying. The White-bellied Sea-Eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) is Australia’s second largest eagle, only slightly smaller than the Wedge-tailed Eagle. It is found right around the coast of Australia and also inhabits terrestrial wetlands far from the sea. This bird is one of a pair that were chasing an Osprey over Peel Inlet near Mandurah south of Perth, Western Australia. The Osprey managed to evade the Sea-Eagles who flew back to their perch on a dead tree. Elevation: 0 m. Date added to IBC: June 16, 2018.
