A Boat-billed Flycatcher perching. The Boat-billed Flycatcher (Megarynchus pitangua) is a large tyrant flycatcher that breeds in woodland and secondary rainforest with some tall trees. They perch waiting to catch passing insects on the wing. This Boat-billed Flycatcher was perching in a tree on the 101 Road near Iguazu National Park in northern Argentina. Elevation: 259 m. Date added to IBC: February 16, 2019.
