A Pied Crow perching, then flying off. Pied Crows (Corvus albus) are widely distributed throughout most of sub-Saharan Africa except for areas of dense rainforest and true deserts. Pied Crows are generalists, and are often found scavenging near houses and rubbish tips. This bird was perching on a dead branch at Moloto Picnic Spot in Pilanesberg National Park, South Africa. Elevation: 1305 m. Date added to IBC: February 15, 2019.
