A pair of Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoos perching, with one calling. Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoo (Chalcites basalis) is a small, common Bronze-Cuckoo found throughout Australia except for the wetter, denser vegetation types. It parasitises small birds with cup-shaped or domed nests. This pair was perched on a dead tree on the Rocky Outcrop Camp Track on Wooleen Station. Elevation: 293 m. Date added to IBC: August 21, 2018.
