The Sedge (or Grass) Wren (Cistothorus platensis hornensis) is a subspecies of the Sedge Wren that has 19 described subspecies, ranging from Mexico to southern Chile and Argentina. This race occurs from central Chile and southern Argentina to Cape Horn. This Wren was perching and calling on a grass stem near Los Palos Lagoon on Route 9 in Chilean Patagonia in a very strong wind, so I turned the sound off. Elevation: 18 m.
