Media notes
A family of Whooper Swans moving away in a marsh near Djúpivogur, East Iceland . Whooper Swans (Cygnus cygnus) are a large white swan that breed in northern Europe, extending east to Siberia. They are common in Iceland, and are often seen grazing in fields, or sitting in large flocks on the sea. Whooper Swans pair for life – this pair moved their two large cygnets away as I began videoing them. Elevation: 21 m. Date added to IBC: July 2, 2018.
