Saddle-billed Stork female attempting to swallow a huge fish . The beautiful Saddle-billed Stork (Ephippiorhynchus senegalensis) is listed as endangered in South Africa. This female Stork was attempting to dismember then swallow a fish that was far too big for it, while at the same time trying to evade a small Nile Crocodile that was trying to steal the fish from it!. Elevation: 287 m. Date added to IBC: February 5, 2018.
