Media notes
wild female foraging through leaf litter. It is known that Painted Button-quail create round bare patches in leaf litter as a part of their foraging behaviour. This is how they do it. She seemed to be quite successful - grabbing a food item every minute or so. Elevation: 3 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.
