Media notes
A dorsal view of a perched bird, eventually flying away. Western Amazonian races (viridiceps, zimmeri, subsimilis) sometimes treated as a separate species on grounds of plumage and vocal differences. From HBW. Conflicting statements can be seen on the web. When split, I think the eastern races are called Yellow-breasted Flycatcher, and the western races as stated above Ochre-lored Flycatcher (as it's called in Suriname when I was there). But I'm confused, maybe it's just a new name for this species. Peperpot is an old plantation dating back from the Dutch colonial times. Elevation: 3 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.
