A flock roosting on an often used rock in the sound, joined by a foraging Weka. Endemic to the Cook Strait which separates North- and South Island, New Zealand. Steady numbers for the last 50 years of around 650 individuals. Elevation: 0 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.
