Calls from two Short-billed Dowitchers alongside the edge of the ponds. Background species: Killdeer, European Starling, Savannah Sparrow

Observation details

**Rare in Cortland. First county record. 3 adults. A single bird was on the pond when we arrived and another came in calling at 6:01, followed by another at 6:04. Heavy rains yesterday. Photos IJD and BLS. Audio recordings CLW.
