*lifer [Record corrected from Streaked Xenops to Slender-billed following this comment from Alex Lees: "This species is unknown from the interior of Amazonia and your helpful pics look good for Slender-billed Xenops to me". Looking at this in retrospect, I find diagnostic marks hard to make out. The bold supercilium and hint of white malar should eliminate Rufous-tailed (X. milleri). The bill shape seemed long and slender, which is good for Slender-billed, but the tail pattern (supposedly dark on both webs of some rects in Slender-billed, but restricted to inner web in Streaked), is not visible in the photos for me. Wing contrast, extent of streaking, and size are other listed field marks that I find hard to make out. With bill shape and Alex's status notes, I assume Slender-billed is correct] Photos, including carrying nesting material:
