Media notes
Neotropic is the blurry smaller cormorant. Double crested lower right to show size difference.
Observation details
Finally saw it at around 2:10 pm. It was swimming by a Double-crested Cormorant making the size comparison easy. This is one small dark cormorant. A little to far to see the detail of the white feathers on the face but I did see a little white and a very pale beak. Very difficult it’d to photograph with all the other birds in the area but I might have gotten one shot which I will add if it was the cormorant.
