Observation details
found feeding and perched in a neighborhood in Candor NY. Male bird with orange and black markings along with slate grey/blue on back and wings. Bird was eating grubs from the ground and would fly to a tree out of sight. It is not seem to be skittish of other birds. The viewing was from the side of a barn on the northside of the home or along a hedgerow of trees in the parking lot of a local business, both viewing locations were approx. 30-40ft away from the bird(s).
