Observation details
Continuing bird discovered by Alvaro Jaramillo yesterday. Large bulky, barrel-chested gull with darker mantle than the Western Gulls around it. Slender, pale yellow bill, much more petite than the Western Gull bills which were banana yellow, not such a pale shade of yellow. String of pearls visible on the primaries. Dark pink legs. Lots of smudgy streaking on the head and neck, especially around the eye.
