Observation details
The agitated crows made me look above the woods, and the first eagle emerged pretty soon, at relatively low height and flying out in direction of the parking lot. The eagle started gaining altitude pretty fast, right above my head and drifting toward the parkway. I could barely see it with my naked eye against darkening clouds, but then I noticed a second bird not far from the first, coming in the opposite direction, toward the woods. It turned out to be another Bald Eagle. All my pics (not great, but I upload a few) show that the first eagle had a distinctive gap in the primaries of its right wing that the second did not have. Also, the first eagle showed some white feathers among the brown ones covering its underside.
