Observation details
Dark flashes on underwing first stood out. After getting the gull in my binoculars I was able to see the gray wings with white trailing edge across primaries and secondaries. Wings were also appeared more rounded than Bonaparte’s Gulls. Appeared to be an adult bird. Light gray on top of head, under eye, and on neck. Also small black circle behind eye. Appeared slightly smaller than BOGUs in direct comparison. Flight was more fluttering than the other Gulls present making it easier to track through the masses of Bonaparte’s. Photos attached.
