Observation details
Very small, warm brown wren foraging at very close range, to with a few feet at one time, in flood debris and wood piles about 100-200 ft from river bed. Stayed hidden inside the flood debris but would pop up occasionally before dropping down into cover. Calls heard first, a sharp "tip-tip" like Wilson's Warbler chips often given in doubled notes. Responded to call playback by giving similar calls and coming into view.
