Observation details
This was not at all what I was expecting of today! I was heading back to the carpark after my North End explorations when, out of nowhere, all the Lorikeets and Miners flew into a rage! I figured something was up... and then a rather small, thin Bronzewing hurtled over the carpark, a vision of subtle browns and pinks on flopping wings! It vanished amongst the trees, and I very much feared I'd lost it... but luck was on my side! I was photographing the Silvereyes over by the smaller Lagoon when, all of a sudden, the Bronzewing flopped out of the air right in front of me! It was a tense standoff at first... but soon my camera focused for a nice shot, and I left this brand new Goulds bird for me to its own devices!
