Media notes
A few calls audible (0:01, 0:02, 0:09, 0:14, 0:34, 0:39), but lots of background noise from the interstate as well as noisy Myrtle Warblers.
Observation details
Continuing bird, first found yesterday, but likely the same bird as last year, returning for its second winter. Smallish yellow warbler, black streaks on flanks, yellow supercilium, complex black face pattern, dark mustard yellow back, paler wing bars, relatively long tail, which it bobbed regularly. No reddish streaks on the back, but the rather bright yellows and black markings suggest an AHY male. Chip calls heard and recorded.
