Observation details

Bird was originally found by Tom Fangrove and identified as an ATFL. Photos looked good for something better, so I went to look. Was joined by Shirley Reynolds and Ryan Winkleman. Call notes and photos confirm this is a BCFL. I found it in a large (mostly leaf-less) Sycamore tree in the creek. (GPS: 33.604315, -117.673290). It flew up a bit closer towards us in the parking lot of the school. Photos and audio attached,
