Observation details

Photographed. Clear sighting. Hooded appearance, brownish head and whitish underside. Yellow eyes. Very faint gular stripe. Differentiated from Besra by pale tail bands broader than dark tail bands (Besra has even tail bars). Shorter, squarish tail with a notch. Primary projection fairly long, wing-tips extend almost half-way down the tail (visible in photo). A rest, wing tips not as dark as a Chinese Sparrowhawk. Not a great photo due to lack of equipment but great sighting in decent light for about 10 minutes.
