Agitated by owling mob tape (Ferruginous Pygmy-owl).
Observation details
Seen and heard. Description : a small upright Flycatcher, smaller than a tyrannulet. Completely whitish underparts with no hint of yellow, faintly streaked gray on sides of breast. We matched vocalizations to Rufous-browed Tyrannulet, which is unrecorded in the region to our knowledge. Sound file pending. Habitat was open farmland with scattered trees and hedges near riparian along the Arroyo de Coloso. Sang and called in response to Pygmy owl recording. Better views later confirmed the identification as Pale-eyed Pygmy-Tyrant.
