Observation details
This Black-legged Kittiwake was first observed on the beach at the south end of Pismo Creek/lagoon. It flew south after constant harassment from other gulls. I decided to check the beaches south and relocated it near Arroyo Grande Creek mouth. After being harassed by other gulls it flew back in the direction of Pismo Beach. This individual had a yellow bill, showed a gray crown band behind dark colored eyes with black legs.
