Observation details
Both of the Snow Geese were a dingy gray in color because they were juveniles. They showed black primaries The tail of both Snow Geese were whitish. They were much larger than a Mallard Duck that was near them. Their bills were large and black. Their bills were too large to be a Ross's Goose. Also, the demarcation where the bill meets the feathers on the face was not vertical as would be expected in a Ross's Goose. The head was not round as in a Ross's Goose and the neck was too long for a Ross's Goose.
