Observation details

11/16 revision: based on better viewing and photos today, changed from Common/King to King Eider. Sides and back showed scaled, rather than barred, pattern and feathering on bill did not extend as far as would be expected for COEI. Poor photos. Brownish colored with black mottling on back as opposed to all dark/black of scoters. Light line extending behind eye and down neck; Bill size/shape possible Common but can’t be sure from photos or scope view. Awaiting other opinions
