Pair of Myiarchus tuberculifer LSUMNS Tissue B-93911 / GFS1032 (female) and LSUMNS Tissue B-93912 / GFS1033 (male). First noticed silently foraging in mixed species flock at eye level in bare branches over a ravine with Guadua bamboo. After a few minutes of no vocalizations, afraid the flock would move on, I began playback of pre-recorded tape, which got their attention. They proceeded to emphatically produce rolls and rattles. Cut 1 - Excited response to playback of pair. Cut 2 - Excited response to playback of pair. Vocalizations primarily from the first individual collected (B-93911, female) with occasional vocalizations of the second bird (B-93912, male). Cut 3 - Male and female stimulus-response calls. Cut 4 - The male (B-93912) giving whistle notes after the female was collected.
