Observation details
Found bright yellow warbler with gray head foraging under a juniper, it flushed to a tree then around the courtyard of Marine Drive apts.. i initially thought it was a late Common Yellowthroat then thought a Nashville . but no eye -ring .. it was chipping/calling and i listened to both Mourning and COYE on Merlin and one call was very similar . by both birds . to it's vocalizations. i thought it had to be Mourning Warbler but was unsure and i posted photos of bird and it was suggested i try to re-find .. it was ruled out as MacGillray's but not Connecticut .. glad I went back . with help .. relocated bird a bit later with Josh Ketry and all photos included on that checklist as well .. Josh got a good look at the face . gray head with no eye ring ..
