Observation details
Single bird (confirmed from photographs) seen on several occasions while drifting. An obvious Fregetta type storm petrel with a white rump, all dark head and upper breast. Belly white with heavy, extensive black streaks. White underwing flash small compared to that of New Zealand Storm Petrel and distinguished from that species by all dark primary covets.
